The members of this society shall be "Housekeepers of the House of God" and providers of the requisites of Divine Worship. They assist the Pastor in various ways as in cleaning the sanctuary, changing votive candles, tending to the altar linens and vestments. The society also operates a Religious Article Store that is open before and after each Mass.

The Apostleship of the Cross is an association of Cristians in the Church who, moved by the Holy Spirit, follow Jesus Christ priest and victim, contemplative and solidary, and who, in communion with Jesus, collaborate with His salvific mission.

Blessed Concepción Cabrera was inspired by God to begin the Apostleship of the Cross. It was founded on May 3, 1895 by Archbishop Ramón Ibarra y González. Pope Leo XIII approved the Apostleship of the Cross on May 25, 1898
It is the first of the five Works of the Cross. The others are the Sisters of the Cross of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Covenant of Love with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Fraternity of Christ the Priest, and the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit.

This ministry involves the formation of teams to plan and lead Vigil (Wake) Services, lead the Rosary, phone or visit the families of the deceased and provide necessary follow-up care. It also involves the planning of an annual Memorial Mass for All Souls Day.

The Guadalupano Society is a group of women and men in good standing with the Catholic Church whose mission is to evangelize and the cultivation of devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. The Society is responsible for coordination the liturgy and activities connected with the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12. They also assist the parish Religious Education K-12 Program, as needed.

The base of operation for our parish is located behind the Church at 401 Cedarhurst. Parishioners from SVDP and other area churches volunteer their time to assist families in need of food, clothing, and other necessities. They also sponsor a back-to-school clothing program. The Friendship House is supported by a once a month collection and by donations.

Come join us as we work to make our church grounds beautiful. Bring your gardening tools. Work as long or as little time as you like. It's your choice. We meet on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month beginning at 7:00 am. If you are a late riser, feel free to join us later. We would love to have you join us and become a Gardening Angel. No lifting or hard work required. There are many opportunities available.
The Legion of Mary is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church. The main purpose is to give glory and active cooperation, under ecclesiastical guidance in Mary, including Church work through advancing the reign of Christ. We are dedicated to spreading devotion to the Virgin Mary so that there will be an increased devotion to her Son, Jesus Christ through her intercession.

The Lumen Gentium Award is presented annually to one member of each parish in the Archdiocese. The award gives the pastor the opportunity to recognize, thank, and encourage one deserving member of our parish each year in an Archdiocesan setting. Open to boys and girls who have made their First Communion. They serve at weekend and other parish liturgies. Training is provided. This is a wonderful ministry for the youth of the parish, 4th grade and above, to serve the Church.

Our primary mission is to spread the devotion to our Blessed Mother through the Rosary. To do this, we make and provide rosaries for distribution to missionary groups and church affiliated groups. Our group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the Parish Center.
