Day Chapel Project
In the year 2000, the idea of having a church master plan with a church addition (now known as the small chapel) with a grotto with landscape, an administration building and a new rectory was a grand vision. Efforts were done to begin the first project which was the church addition due to an overflow of parishioners attending Sunday services. Fundraising efforts began and parishioners contributed to this first step of enhancing our church campus.
A parish development committee was established, town hall meetings were held and the campaign began to raise funds for the first project. With Archbishop Gustavo's approval, we now continue the dream of having a day chapel where we can hold daily weekday masses, liturgical celebrations, and personal and communal adoration.
Providentially, our nation is beginning to prepare for the national Eucharistic Congress which will conclude in 2024. The Eucharistic revival that we are embarking on as Church is one that will provide many graces for parishioners. The Eucharist is the 'source and summit' of our Christian life and by having a day chapel, we hope to contribute in making the Eucharist the center of our parish life and apostolate.
The links below will provide you with the information and process of our Day Chapel Project. We thank our past donors and encourage you to support our parish with your time, talent and treasure in making this dream a reality.
In January 2024, the Archdiocese informed us that the Chapel Project is on hold. We will inform everyone when we can begin planning again.
