Dear Brothers and Sisters of St.Vincent de Paul,
Welcome to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church staffed by the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit and committed lay leaders. In the words of our Lord, “the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many,” (Matt. 20:28), the call to parish pastoral ministry is primarily a call to service and selfless compassion and solidarity.
It is with hope and enthusiasm that we, at St. Vincent de Paul, share with you our charism and mission within the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your life story, values, and dreams that you have. As a community of consecrated men, we have the opportunity to contribute to the life and ministry within the Archdiocese and help weave the sacraments, local customs, religious practices, and devotions with the charism of our Congregation of the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit. In fact, the collaborative ministry among laity and religious consecrated is one of the most life giving dimensions of staffing a parish like St. Vincent de Paul, by integrating the Spirituality of the Cross and which will significantly enhance the lives of all parishioners.

We call upon the Holy Spirit to empower us to follow the example of our Lord to spread the Good News. We are a community that is welcoming, supportive and enabling to all in every phase of our life. Our mission is to be disciples in spreading the Good News through evangelization, education, and worship.
